Privacy Policy — Office Mania
Last updated 24 August 2026
Office Mania is a game published by Out By One. This policy explains exactly what the app collects, what it does not, and what you can do about it. It is short because the app does very little: there are no accounts, no sign-in, and no server of ours for anything to be sent to.
In one sentence: the only information that leaves your device is your device's advertising ID, which our advertising provider (Google AdMob) uses to show adverts. Everything else — your progress, coins and unlocked items — is stored on your device and never transmitted anywhere.
What the app collects
Advertising ID. The app shows adverts through Google AdMob. To do this, the AdMob software collects your device's advertising ID along with technical information about your device and the advert shown (for example, whether it was watched to the end). This is shared with Google, who act as an advertising provider. It is required for the adverts to work; the app has no advert-free mode.
This is the only category of data the app collects, and it is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
What stays on your device
Your game progress — level reached, coins, high scores, which items you own and have equipped, and your sound preference — is saved in the app's own local storage on your device. It is never uploaded, never sent to us, and we have no way to see it. It exists only on the device you played on.
Deleting the app, or clearing its data from Android's app settings, erases all of it permanently. There is no cloud backup, which also means progress does not transfer between devices.
What the app does not collect
- No name, email address, phone number or any other personal detail.
- No accounts — there is nothing to sign into, and no sign-in with Google or anything else.
- No location.
- No contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera access.
- No analytics or crash-reporting service.
- No purchases of any kind. The game has no in-app purchases; coins are earned by playing.
Beyond the advertising described above, the app makes no network requests at all.
Third parties
Google AdMob is the only third party involved. Google's handling of this data is governed by their own policies:
We do not sell your data, and we have no advertising partners other than Google.
Consent, and personalised adverts
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows Google's consent form before requesting personalised adverts, and respects your choice. You can change your mind at any time through the consent option the form provides.
Your choices
- Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android's Settings → Privacy → Ads. Deleting it stops apps, including this one, from receiving it.
- Opt out of advert personalisation in the same place. Adverts will still appear, but will not be personalised.
- Erase your progress by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.
Data retention and deletion requests
We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete, and no deletion request process to offer. Data collected by Google through AdMob is retained according to Google's own policies, linked above, and questions about it are best directed to Google.
Children
Office Mania is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us and we will help as far as we are able — though as described above, the app has no mechanism for a user to provide personal information in the first place.
Changes to this policy
If the app changes in a way that affects this policy — for example if in-app purchases or cloud saves were ever added — this page will be updated and the date at the top changed. The current version is always the one published here.
